We held an event to engage with health and social care Third Sector Organisations on the 19 June 2019. We had 61 people participating from across 34 Organisations plus 11 colleagues from social care, Scottish Ambulance Service, Scottish Fire and Rescue in attendance and 2 from the Scottish Health Council to undertake evaluation of the event.
The Third Sector are recognised as key stakeholders in how we will transform health and social care services as it provides a diverse range of support to people; and it reaches people who use health and social care services, with links to specific communities and the wider public. This event was to provide a Greater Glasgow and Clyde wide forum to strengthen old and establish new mutually beneficial relationships to enable us to work together to transform services to best meet the needs of our population
To help facilitate discussion and engage in conversation about the future of health and social care we had a range of senior leadership and clinicians from across the Programme to deliver an introductory presentation and display areas covering:
